Did you see it?
my desktop is oddly coloured compared with my laptop, it’s like using the comp through an instagram filter jfc
and like saying stuff like “live like money isn’t an object” sounds like the kinda thing someone to whom money isn’t that much of an object basically the entire thing kinda seems a bit privileged to me like I can totally understand why someone without a safety net would choose a career based on financial security rather than following one’s dreams idk it’s not my place to say but the entire post annoyed me, a lot. and the other thing is it’s basically prioritizing job satisfaction over lifestyle and I’m sorry but if you want a nice swanky london flat and an expensive care and don’t mind having a relatively boring job then that’s your fucking choice jfc
I’m actually kinda annoyed at that post going ‘round like “follow your dreams you’ll work something out it doesn’t actually cost that much to live” bc fuck you I’m sorry but I’m gonna chose financial security and not having to worry about eating over perusing idk whatever I’d do if money wasn’t an object like idk if it’s just me but it rubs me up the wrong way a bit like. oh thanks, for saying blah blah you can’t take money with you but sorry people need to think about healthcare costs and bills and shit stop being a condescending twat about it pls.
